The first version of ibergour.com was launched on December 30th, 2005, with only two products for sale: acorn-fed ham and shoulder ham from the Dehesa de Extremadura Denomination of Origin, produced by a small producer in Montánchez (Cáceres).
The first sale took place on January 17th, 2006: a 5 kg acorn-fed iberian shoulder ham, for a customer in a village in the province of Lérida (Spain). Total amount: 100,77 € VAT included.
Those were different times.
It is 2022, 17 years later our catalogue includes hams from the best brands and Denominations of Origin in Spain. We ship thousands of hams every year to 33 countries all over Europe.

The Spanish hams with the best organoleptic characteristics are produced in a traditional way, by small producers and in limited quantities. Veterinarians and expert pork butchers advise IberGour in the selection of those productions that, complying with the strictest health control standards, have the best qualities in flavour, aroma, texture, presence and smell.
From the moment a customer arrives at our website until they receive the ham at home, we strive every day to make the purchasing process easy, fast and convenient. To make it so, we work in the same team with specialists in Internet commerce, warehouse staff, technicians and customer service staff.
Miquel Nieto (telecommunications engineer) and Jose María Sánchez de Ocaña (computer science graduate) create ibergour.com, a website for the sale of Iberian ham.
English version. We add new products and offer boning and slicing service. In a few days, we sell 12 of the 100 pieces produced that year of the most expensive ham in the world (1.500 € each ham). We rent our first premises (40 m2).
We move to new premises (120 m2) and we hire our first employee. French, German and Italian versions (2009).
We relocate to our third premises (450 m2). Improvements in the format and presentation of the products. First shipment to Hong Kong (2013). We expose the deception in the sale of acorn-fed Iberian ham at Groupalia.
We automate the warehouse. The local TV channel 8TV invites us to the "8 al dia" show to comment on the new Iberian ham law. We adapt the website to mobile phones. First Black-Friday of hams.
Improvements in the packaging of hams. We open a new warehouse, designed to be especially efficient during the Christmas season.
In collaboration with Médecins Sans Frontières, we launch a sale to raise funds for the fight against COVID-19.
New web design, faster and better adapted to mobile devices.
